AI Medical Devices Specialist (13 months FTC)
As an AI Medical Devices Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, having ownership of Odin Vision’s medical devices.
The AI Medical Devices Specialist represents Odin Vision and the users of the product. Making sure there is a maximum return on investment and communication of feedback on the product features. Proactively seeking feedback and having ownership for how this influences changes in existing medical devices and those developed in the future.
You will receive training on the use of artificial intelligence to better detect the early stages of digestive cancer. You will be responsible for the in-life management of a number of products.
You will work with customers and distributors to support the use, installation and gather evidence for new product features, product performance and monitoring of Odin Vision’s medical devices. You will work with the Quality, Operations and wider teams to maintain technical documentation and customer support for the medical devices and products. You will work with the wider company to complete technical documentation in line with regulatory standards to manage important design changes for the medical devices on the market. You will have additional responsibility in the Quality Assurance of these medical devices. You will support the Regulatory team to complete submissions for market release with regulators.
You will be required to gain an understanding of the medical devices and the market, their development and their use in clinical practice. You will plan and help perform installations of medical devices in hospitals around the UK and work alongside our operations team and distributors to maintain customer relations and actively seek feedback.
The role is home-based and will require the successful applicant to travel to customer sites/hospitals to install equipment, provide site surveys and training.
Responsibilities/Tasks
• Provide onboarding and training to new and existing customers and clinical collaborators
• Maintain customer engagement and deeply understand customer needs
• Perform installations of Odin Vision products and support for distributors.
• Manage the CRM
• Provide onboarding and training to new and existing customers and clinical collaborators
• Provide onboarding and training to new and existing Odin vision and Olympus team members • Project managing and documenting the design change process and regulatory submissions
• Support customer queries around installation and troubleshooting
• Monitor and record customer complaints in conjunction with the Operations team ensuring appropriate and timely communication back to the customer
• Proactively seeking customer feedback and post-market surveillance
• Management of customers and monitoring feedback
• Taking part in internal and external audits
• Providing internal and external training
• Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
• Implementation and ownership of the company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
Requirements
• A full clean UK driving license and use of a car
• Experience working with a Quality Management System created in-line with ISO 13485 and the Medical Device Directive / Medical Device Regulations is desirable but not essential
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred Full Clean Driving Licence
Experience
• 3+ years’ experience in customer service is a must, experience working in the medical device industry is desirable but not essential. Not all skills and experience are essential unless stated.
Travel
You will be required to travel on a daily to weekly basis, but currently some of these visits will be held virtually. You will be required to attend meetings, installation and attend exhibitions and conferences which may necessitate overnight stays.
